I read the reviews, so my expectations were low. Good movie overall. Kept my interest. I think the lack of character development is true, but that's broad. The characters who are important are developed, so screw the rest. Isn't time for the rest. Packed a lot of story into 100 minutes. Avoided typical story lines I thought. I laughed outloud during fun action sequence

Probably the best Gervais movie, although thats not saying much- hes much better on TV. Did get alot of laughs.

Roger Moore 29 Apr 2016

Gervais fakes caring about character, jokes or doing the work to make Special Correspondents come off. He’s never made a worse film. And topping that, he’s never made a lazier one.

Enjoyable low key film. The show was stolen be Vera Farmiga as Ricky's self-centred wife.

Gomi A 05 May 2016

Not classic Gervais by any means, but it has some laughs, and has a charming, if a little hollywood cliched, love story at its heart.
