un film qui donne la peche et rend tout simplement heureux, la musique est real good et les personnages secondaires tous plus frapadingues les uns que les autres....qui a dit que les allemands Ã©taient austeres!!!

Zum Ende hin drohte der Film an Fahrt zu verlieren, aber das Ende selbst war dann doch wieder sehr versÃ¶hnlich. Alles in allem eine groÃ?artige KomÃ¶die mit gutem Ensemble und stimmigen Soundtrack.

Since Fatih Akin has chosen a humorous style for story telling in Soul Kitchen,the movie doesnt take itself seriously and it rips your ass with laughter.Considering that we can ignore its shortcomings and characters stupidity.Fatih Akin is a phenomenon.I loved all of his movies except his debut and yet in my opinion Edge of Heaven is his best.

Although I have to say the movie is one big mess of interesting but predictable moments, but it somehow manages to deliver the right mood and entertainment.

A genuine feel-good movie with the right mix of physical comedy and wit. Soul Kitchen just goes to show that international cinema can match anything Hollywood dishes out, from violent epics and historical period pieces to modest romantic comedies. Plus I guarantee you Soul Kitchen is better than (Academy Award winner) Ron Howard's The Dilemma or (Ghostbusters director) Ivan Reitman's No Strings Attached. Please, if you live in or near Keene and feel like heading out to a movie, see this and prepare to not be disappointed (The King's Speech and The Fighter are playing at the Wilton Town Hall Theater as well, both excellent films!)
