A comedy based on how the media exaggerates ridiculous news and how people seek distractions from the problems they face. Although they main idea is interesting, the movie feels weak and develops in a not-so-engaging manner.

a mess of a film. i like heather graham. her presence made me want to sit through it. at the beginning i was expecting a "being there"-like movie. but it never materializes and nothing of any substance happens. the message (whatever it was/if any) doesn't come across, or was just too obvious. missed opportunities.
