Strictly for Hip-Hop fans. Contains some nice insight into various artists' creative process and also some great verses and freestyles. This is an impressive line up of major MC's in one documentary, but this also leaves only about 5 minutes of time with each artist so we never get a chance to go very in depth with anyone. This is also limited to only East and West coast Hip-Hop.

Very well documented history of the hip hop culture. While they didn't cover/interview several other notable artists that had their own impacts and helped shaped the art form (Scarface, Outkast, LL Cool J, Puffy, Jay-Z, etc.), I still think that enough talent was included that hit most of the right notes. LOVED hearing the freestyles from artist to artist!

A must for any rap/hip-hop fan, this is a great documentary by Ice-T which consists of an hour and a half of interviews with various faces in rap music talking about their inspirations and favourite verses by other rappers. Excellent.

With a very simple premise, rapper Ice-T – this film's presenter and co-director with Andy Baybutt – has created a very enjoyable and often fascinating movie.

Hip hop is not dead! In this interactive documentary, director Ice-T takes the spectator on a journey to hear what some of the greatest names in rap have to say about what they do, based on their personal expieriences. A lot of freestylin' is featured, along with an awesome soundtrack and astonishing photography from the cities he visited.
