Ms. Bennett is worth watching, and her story is weirdly detailed enough to prove once more that truth is too strange for good fiction.

To be influenced chiefly by humanity's greatest shame, reality shows -- reality shows for God's sake! -- is a crime that should be punishable by chainsaw.

What could have been the most boring, unwatchable crawl-up-your-own-asshole picture instead becomes a gripping, searing portrait of a lost soul trying to find her way through life. Stephanie Bennett is amazing.

Ken Fox 24 Apr 2002

In a film in which the star talks graphically about the size of her vagina and ex-lovers appear as themselves to call her a whore, there might be such a thing as too much honesty.
