The film itself is an independant film, through and through. However, this showcases the comic genius of Anna Faris as Jane F., who somehow, through a chain of wacky and surreal events got from point 'A' to point 'Z'. The movie, which honestly doesn't make much sense, posts the quote "And I think you'll all agree, that much like life itself, it's been one hell of a crazy ride."

So dumb funny its smart, Smiley Face makes fun of the stoner within while reveling in the stupidness. I laughed out loud so many times and thought "oh that's cleverly relevant to the marijuana culture." Anna Faris is great as always, playing a character totally unrelateable yet recognizable in our culture and our friends. If you didn't like this movie its because you take your weed way too seriously or you don't get it at all.

I laugh my ass off watching this movie. Anna Faris and Adam Brody with those horrendous dreadlocks was hilarious. Not exactly similar to Daze and Confused but definitely funnier.

One of the greatest stoner films ever made. Gregg Araki is a genius with impeccably good taste in music. I like his films very much.
