It’s the kind of movie that makes you zero in on and root for an actor (Ms. Madigan) as she tries to wring something real out of her lines, but there’s no saving this film.

I saw the film at the premiere and absolutely loved it. As a Iranian American I could totally relate to Shirin's character and her struggle to set herself free from traditions and follow her heart.
