Shadowboxer (2005)

Mikey and Rose are professional assassins. They are also lovers, and once upon a time Rose also knew Mikey's father. During an elaborate hit job for a malicious gangster, Rose fails to kill the main target, the gangster's pregnant girlfriend. Instead, she delivers her baby and convinces Mikey to help her protect them both. As Rose weakens from cancer, Mikey becomes breadwinner for this unusual family. But tranquility will not last.

The movie is bad, y'all. Like real bad. But, I still find a number of reasons to recommend it.

[font=Arial Black]Dorff is such a hottie!! Naked scenes are...umm, to good! The only thing that makes this movie worth watching is him. Disturbing images of Cuba & old lady being sexual. [/font]

In the tradition of the Andalusian Dog and Blue Velvet Shadowboxer elevates surrealist filmmaking to a new plateau. Give it time and watch cult immortality embrace it. You may not like Shadowboxer, but you will never forget it. A superb cast, satire, shock, black humor and a brilliant screenplay will etch this into memory, believe me.
