Despite of quite interesting plot I couldn't stand this movie. Mainly due to obnoxious and annoing Matthew McConaughey. I could slap his face every minute of this movie. Well... if thats the creators idea its a double edged sword.

It seems silly, until it doesn't, the expected closing credit updates at once chastising us for our misplaced amusement and muddying those clear blue waters with information at odds with what we have just seen.

This movie is like Plan 9 from outer space, so bad and just insane you kind of have to watch it to see how bad. It starts off like a cheap film noir crossing the old man and the sea with double indemnity and right when you think thats as mad as it can get it throws you over a cliff.

The atmosphere in Serenity, by design, imparts a slightly uneasy and hermetic feeling. In Baker Dill, who sounds like a line of gourmet pickles, Knight has the makings of a compellingly messed-up antihero. That’s a start. If movies were all start, then this one might’ve worked.

The fact that it’s a Razzie contender, of course, is no reason not to see it. In fact it could be an inducement — Razzie movies can be quite fun.
