Eh, it's hit & miss. Chevy is ok in it, kinda like Fletch in a romantic comedy. The Marvin Hamlisch score is very Chuck Mangione-ish. If you know what that means, then you might enjoy parts of the film, just for nostalgia's sake. But your life won't be any worse off if you miss it.

The material here is slick and entertaining, and Mr. Sandrich settles for comic simplicity without reaching for anything more. He coaxes the film along at a cheerfully breakneck rhythm. Zany, zany but nice.

I love Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase so consequently I really enjoyed this Film.

Two stars for the two stars, Chevy and Goldie. Grodin is good too but aside from these and some hilarity from a very witty and interesting premise, this movie doesn't offer much. I don't like to criticize Goldie and Chevy or Neil Simon for that matter, so I'll simply say that the movie is good for a laugh, which is why it was made, and then that's it, nothing more. Fun to watch these comedians at work.
