This boozy mix of screechy characters, splashy visuals, and trite tales will likely leave audiences feeling the cinematic equivalent of a hangover.

2 1/2 stars. Cinema, Dolby 7.1 surround? Nothing new but the left over from Wang Jia Wei's old films repacked as something new. In short, it is a plate of fried rice made from Wang's leftover foods.

I did enjoy the movie but not enough for me to rave about it.

Both stars go all out in their roles, from falling down flights of stairs to getting comically slapped in the face. It is just too bad that they worked so hard for so little pay-off.
