Director Stephen Kijak previously made the documentary "Cinemania," about a group of obsessive moviegoers, and it comes across here that Walker (born Noel Scott Engel) and his acolytes might best be described not by that distasteful word "hipster" but rather by the more dignified "connoisseur." These are people of discerning taste.

"Scott Walker 30 Century Man" is not without interest, especially if you don't know anything about Scott Walker, but the filmmakers seem content to let the mystery surrounding Walker stay that way. The film also gets bogged down in the third act when the recording of "Tilt" and "The Drift" is examined.

Nice guy, bad voice. Great musical compositions, indulgent lyrics. I couldn't understand the levels of adoration so many fellow musicians lavished on Walker. Genius to some, footnote to others

Such an incredible doco.. i knew virtually nothing about Scott Walker before seeing this and i walked out a devout follower. Such an amazingly cool dude! very well made doco with some top notch interviews with Radiohead/Jarvis/Damon Albarn ..yay
