I like to see casting that is not your run of the mill and this movie provides that. Lizzie was awesome and so were Brie and Webber. Sue Webber didn't blow you over but he was cool. Ignore the hypercritical pro reviewers.

Kind like 500 Days of Summer. awesome movie Mark Webber did a good job in both director and actor. Has a great cast all work off each other.Good story ok soundtrack.

Save the Date has the vapid, beige feel of an off-the-peg product made to exploit a niche market rather than a film with something on its mind about what it means to make the jump from youth to adulthood today.

Honest and best in its quiet moments. 'Save the Date' allows the actors to perform beyond just the dialogue. The characters relate and react to each other in a very organic way -- at times it feels like a real conversation rather than scripted words on a page. Caplan and Brie put this movie on their backs and show that they can carry a movie, while adding genuine humanity. The only serious weakness is the little too 'adorable' and 'cute' rebound boyfriend -- he feels more like a plot device with legs than a character with any real depth.
