What a totally dumb, self-conscious, low-budget, cheesy, hilarious movie! I seriously couldn't figure out how many stars to give it, because the movie itself is awful, but I laughed all the way through it. It wouldn't have been half as funny if the special effects had looked like anything but a bunch of kids' dads wearing rented costumes and trying to freak out the kids on Halloween. That said, when I was like 11 years old, the eyeballs in the coffee cup TOTALLY freaked me out. Three stars because it really is an awful movie. No less because it's awfully FUNNY.

The film could have been passable if it had actually been funny! The entire film may be goofy and takes its inspiration from Halloween, Friday the 13th and even a little bit of The Birds; but unfortunately it just didn't hold up as an interesting watch! The actors all seemed unable to deliver a comedy line and I think the casting choices are probably what held this film back!

Very campy and good for some laughs. Not too bad, just silly.
