Knowing that most of the young actors who appeared in Salaam Bombay! were actual street children made this a heart-wrenching experience. Still an amazing film that in spite of it all manages to offer hope in light of harsh reality.

A painful story of the lonely children of the streets of Bombay, abandoned by their family, by their society, and by those whom their assumed as their friends. One of the best Indian movies I have ever seen.
