Gorgeous cinemtography. A personal look at the lives of inner-city youth and their grassroots response to gang violence and commercial hip-hop through krumping.

A really amazing look at the "krump" dance scene. Ignore the clowns, though.

David LaChapelle is my favorite photographer mainly for his use of ironic "pop" imagery and color so anything that he touches is pretty much solid in my eyes...except for the new Amy Wino video...um, what? Anyway, RIZE incorporates elements of his photography as well as a compelling story about the underground clowning/krumping movement in south central LA. See this movie NOW.
