If you want to know the origin of krump dancing this is a must see. I found it to be quite inspirational. In spite of their circumstances these inner city youth find a way to RIZE. Watch it all the way to the end before you judge me!

This is one of my favorite films of all time. It has all the elements a great film should have raising all kinds of emotions out of you. It is a fabulous document of LA suburbs living and how people strive to find an alternative to street violence and crime by being creative and finding meaning in self-expression through their own "dance" style. The competition and dance scenes are exhilarating and gorgeous to look at. And seeing children and all members of the family sharing this krumping is just inspiring. The score is also pretty amazing. Some of the dancers ended up joining Madonna in her latest album and tour. This is the kind of film I wanna watch to cheer me up. Fantastic medicine

An amazing movie that shows that even in the darkest corners hope can find its way out. The Dancers are amazing but their stories are the real reason to watch this film. Hardley a music video.
