Rick (2003)

"Rigoletto" retold at Christmas time in Manhattan's corporate world. Rick, an executive at Image, is a jerk to a woman applying for a job. That evening, he's out for drinks with his much younger boss, Duke, and the same women is their waitress. Rick's continued rudeness leads to her getting fired. She puts a curse on him.

I know this sounds like an oxymoron but Rick is a truely depressing black comedy about corporate excess and moral depravity. Bill Pullman is solid as a corporate suck up who finds out that gold will not be waiting on the other side of the coporate rainbow. Not one character in this film is redemable but maybe that was the point.
