Revenge of the Green Dragons is violent and features a good performance by Justin Chon but considering the film's cross-cultural potential, this film is just bog standard and highly forgettable, with a story not really worth caring about. Nice poster mind.

The movie is INACCURATE! The Green Dragons speak Fuzhounese, not Cantonese! I can't believe they filmed in Chinatown, NY and couldn't find FJ speakers...

Don't know why this movie got so many bad reviews, I found it to be well done, an enjoyable crime movie that provides a look at the inside New York's Chinese gangs.

Im not sure why there are so many poor reviews on this movie. The gang/mafia subject has been shown many times but this is the first one I know of that depicts the life of Asian Americans, its a fresh perspective from this angle alone. The movie centers around two unwilling recruits and give strong attention to their perspectives before and after joining the gang. I was also surprised multiple times by the plot twists and I never had any idea what was going to happen next. Overall, I found it to be very enjoyable. Maybe a lot of the audience just dont have any interest in seeing a movie about Asian gangs with no white male character saving the day.

Revenge boasts Martin Scorsese as an executive producer (and it really does boast - Scorsese's is the first name we see), but the cliché-ridden narrative and patchy acting prevent the film from being Chinatown's answer to Goodfellas.
