Return of the Fly (1959)

Fifteen years after his father's experiments with matter transmission fail, Philippe Delambre and his uncle François attempt to create a matter transmission device on their own. However, their experiments have disastrous results, turning Philippe into a horrible half-man, half-fly creature.

Takes all of the charm and suspense of the original out, and it pulls back the curtain to reveal how cheesey the concepts of both films really were.

This sequel to The Fly shares only Vincent Price and the premise from the original. The son follows in the fatherâ??s footsteps and experiments with teleportation and again ends up becoming spliced with a fly. This film is a worthy successor to the original but lacks its charm and warmth.

Not as good as the original..but still held its own. Some parts don't make any sense at all..but you gotta remember its just a movie so take those parts and just laugh. It is enjoyable!

Lacks the suspense of the original. The new fly-man hybrid looks lame due to the oversized head. Price is again great at his role, and the revenge aspect between Alan and Philippe is a great element. The creepiness given by the sound of the Fly's leg dragging against the ground is also a little creepy. Another average sequel that delivers nothing new or special.
