Fifteen years after his father's experiments with matter transmission fail, Philippe Delambre and his uncle François attempt to create a matter transmission device on their own. However, their experiments have disastrous results, turning Philippe into a horrible half-man, half-fly creature.

This film includes the quote, "There are things Man was not meant to know." I must keep track of how many movies in my sci-fi collection use that odious and highly un-scientific phrase... This one's more of a spy-type thriller than an out-and-out horror film like the original. I guess they figured everyone's seen the fly-man thing already so the sensationalist aspect of it would be lost.

Whereas the first film was quite tragic, this sequel turns the Fly into your standard B-movie monster.

The fly shouldn't have returned, the story is horrible and so are the special effects, this movie is nothing like the original, and I don't recommend seeing it, unless you're a big fan of Price and just want to see him in another movie.

The Fly returns, but it is a mere shadow of the original. Fun for B-movie enthusiasts, but that's about it.

What a lame sequel to a movie which I thought was really good. I mean, first off ... the fact that the same thing happens (the movie poster gives it away), is just stupid. What happened in the first movie was a freak accident ... and then somehow it happens again? It's just stupid. And the fact that the head is HUGE makes it even more campy. Don't bother with this one.
