This film adheres to Rams’s aesthetics by being brisk, matter of fact, well lighted and composed of clean lines, metaphorically speaking. Brian Eno’s score, which he recorded as a series of discrete compositions, adds to the movie’s linear elegance.

A refreshing reminder of the usability-above-all principles that once held more sway — look at nearly any contemporary website to see how far we've fallen — it benefits from both the work and the personality of subject Dieter Rams.

A good one-hour take into Dieter Rams's design philosophy with a few historical nuggets for people like me who have only heard of Dieter Rams but not much exposed to his design, his products, and his style. The last 30 minutes derails but Rams the movie is nonetheless fantastic to look at. His house is beautiful. 7 stars.
