It is a great movie directed by mani, Aish proved her acting once again. AR Rahman's music is fentastic in this film, photographic and the screenplay is heart touching.

Highly anticipated movie of the year but not upto the marks. Never expected this from Mani Ratnam. This will be the worst ever in his movies. No script..... Vikram's effortless acting is a plus..... and splendid cinematography... Overall it was OK..

Ratnam's pace is steadfastly brisk, and his film is replete with dizzying camerawork, myriad complications, violent mayhem, broad humor, usual musical interludes, a cliffhanging climactic confrontation and a finish that strikes a note of poignancy.

Bad script, bad direction by a well established director like Maniratnam. But still amazing location, cinematography and magic of A R Rahman didn't let me be bored. Aishwarya Rai is pretty, but I was going to be better if she had made entry in the movie after 45 minutes.
