pretty great, can't explain why exactly. maybe because its like real life, it did have an incredibly simple plot, but the visuals were good, and for less than 5000 bucks its amazing.

Rather determinedly "little" movie, but charming nevertheless, and of the so-called "mumblecore" generation, Aaron Katz seems to be someone with a strong sense of pace and structure, as well as a visual sensibility. There are times when there's one too many cuts to the cityscape shown at twilight, with the glinting shifts of light. It's awfully pretty but it gets too postcard-ish. But this is a lovely film from a promising young filmmaker.

The first Mumblecore film I have ever seen. This movie is about 2 young strangers meet and hanging out with each other for 24 hrs, and its all about the relationships between the young people. Although the pace is slow, after several attempts to finish this movie, I found that it is definitely worth for it. Beautiful Cinematography, and good capture on people's expressions and emotions. Well done Aaron Katz.

At an hour and 18 minutes this complete indie is exactly what it should be: content. There is no big revelation, social change, self actualization, or poignant statement. This is an inside glimpse of an encounter that ultimately weighs heavy on their lives, and more films should brave into this quiet territory.
