Amazingly, no one seems steeped in the salubrious self-explication of therapy. They just sound like very good storytellers.

OH MY GOD this reminded me of when I read "Sophie's World" when I was 19. Pure and inspiring and heart-stoppingly original.

The documentary was interesting, it's basicallly a personal account of 4 peoples lives in the form of a greek drama. I really do like learning about people and what gets them from point A to B, but I was starting to get bored and was feeling like it was turning into a biography. I had to keep reminding myself at what stage of the protagonist were they examining.

An underrated gem this year. It's puppet interludes may seem like a cheap device, but they so expressively bring these stories to life in a way that's stylized but effective. These men all had identical twists and turns in their lives, even if the situations couldn't be more disparate. The universality of mythic story is very interesting.
