Poms is equal parts boring and infuriating, especially when you consider the actresses made to perform caricatures of old age.

A dynamite ensemble cast and a truckload of heart keep the sentimental new comedy POMS from crumbling beneath multiple well-thumbed clichés including (but not limited to) plucky underdogs can triumph, friends are really important and life is short so live it fully.

I liked this film although the reviews are too bad. Anyway, I enjoyed this 90-minute film. I am not their age. But they encourage me to do something new. This movie is hilarious. I laughed many times. If you have 90 minutes, please watch it.

The film, directed by Zara Hayes and co-written by Hayes and Shane Atkinson, is an abject mess, a movie so poorly built it feels like every other scene is missing—as if after production was wrapped and the movie was in the can, some PA found boxes marked "character" and "plot" in a storage room and realized they forgot to use them during production.
