Deneuve is absolutely brilliant in this film, and this is actually one of my favorite films of all time. This is an awesome suspense piece and it matches some of Claude Chabrol's works. It really makes me wish Deneuve would work with Chabrol.

Deneuve turns in a wonderful performance here, in which one her the coveted Volpi cup at the Venice Film Festival.

This is the film in which I finally came to love Catherine Deneuve, for her beauty, even at the age of 55, and her air of superiority above all beings around her.

Catherine Deneuve has a great performance in this film. I love looking at the relationships between the different characters and how Deneuve overcomes life's challenges.

A great cast, so much potential...not necessairly a classic.
