Gorgeous, gorgeous dance and cinematography. I know virtually no dance, but this was a revelation - and Wenders seems to revel in it, playing with the 3-D and setting up some truly gorgeous shots.

Who said that Art Films and 3-D don't mix? Who said that 3-D was only for costly special effects. There came the ever-great Wim Wenders to give me the best 3-D experience I have ever had in my life!

Mandatory viewing for anybody who either knows who Pina Bausch was or has any interest in dance. For all others, I strongly recommend this documentary. It will introduce you to an entirely new world of poetic motion. Wonderful and very sensitive tribute to Pina by her dancers and Wim Wenders. Saw it in 2-D; not sure if present 3-D technology improves the visual experience...
