Anyone who watches this film will come out realizing that people are accepted when they accept themselves. [***SPOILERS***] Jazmin is obsessed with being skinny and feels that she can only be beautiful if she is skinny. Her feelings are so strong that when a gorgeous trim Nigerian doctor falls for her she can't believe its real love.

Ok, so I just watched this movie.... And I abosolutely LOVE IT! I am, after all, a pluz size girl, and I have gone through everything that this movie portrays. I absolutely loved it and have been raving about it. So much so, that I joined this site. I never thought a movie could boost my self confidence, but it did, and I am discovering a new sense of self. It's wonderful, and has come right in the nik of time. I am getting married in June! I have finally realized that my fiance really does find my sexy and wants me. (Why else does he have such a hard time keepin' his hands off me in the bedroom...) This is a shout out to all my plus size sister! Watch this movie! You will love it!

I believe that Phat Girlz is a very insperational movie for women of all ages that are not happy with the way they look. you should love your self no matter what some one elsse thinks of you.
