Nationally acclaimed evangelist John Luther is the last obstacle in the way of sweeping religious reform in the States. When a U.S. Senator and Luther's own supporters abduct and frame him in the murder of an innocent teenage girl, an unprecedented era of persecution is unleashed. Out on personal recognizance, Luther escapes police surveillance in search of the truth. And suddenly, a once-normal life is targeted by a team of ex-military operatives who wage a relentless campaign to eliminate the incriminating evidence. As evangelist turned fugitive, Luther vows to expose anyone involved with or profiting from the girl's murder; a mission that brings him face-to-face with the coming storm of persecution that will threaten the entire Christian community in America.

I ;OVED IT FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END IT SHOWED HOW YOU COULD GET SET UP IF YOU DIDN;T AGREE WITH THE ONE WORLD ORDER AND HOW THEY WOULD LIE TO GET RID OF YOU BUT HOW GOD PREVAILED AND THE TRUTH WAS AMDE KNOWN. BBECASUE THIS DAY IS ALREADY HERE BUT PPL DON;T SEE IT AND THEY ALWAYS CRISTIZE OR TURN THE OTHER CHEEK THEN STAND WITH TRUTH I AM GLAD THAT THEY SHOWED TRUTH PREVAILED GOD'S WORD IS TRUE EVEN IN THIS THRILLER IT WAS NOT BORING N IT KEEPING YOU GOING WONDER WOULD HE MAKE IT OR NOT N LEAVING YOU WONDERING IF THERE IS GOING TO BE A PART 2 I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW NATALIE GRANT WAS IN THE MOVIE NICE SURPRISE N THE ACTING WAS EXCELLENT

Great movie and a must -see for everyone who knows that our freedoms, as enumerated in the Constitution, are an all-or-none proposition. You can't chip away at any of them and expect the rest to stand.

This was not exactly what I expected. Christian undertones, but not a good movie for the whole family. The story was a little twisted. Not exactly an inspiring story or entertaining enough to keep my interest. I left the theater feeling unresolved. Not a good message of hope.

Good idea but disappointing. Still trying to figure out who the hero was supposed to be in the film. Fred Thompson was killed off early. The main character came off as a legalistic TV evangelist of a ministry whose board was willing to compromise their values for personal benefit. I couldn't find a character to root for.

As a believing, conservative Christian, I was greatly disappointed in this film. Not so much about the idea of the persecution of believers, whether Jewish or Christian (been going on for a long time), but for the complete absence of artistic and production quality. Far too many times, we Christians put out there sub-standard work, and that only works against us since it becomes what we would call, 'a poor witness." Was a time when the arts and sciences were supremely crafted by believers such as Bach, Beethoven, Newton, Kepler and many others. Seems not so much these days, but it ought to be. cwk
