Akshar Kumar doesn't smile a lot (or at all), Probably the least amount of sport actually shown in a sports-movie, This is just massive #FAIL all around. Best parts are Anoushka Sharma (*sigh*), Rishi Kapoor's decent performance and Hard Kaur dressed all traditionally and singing bhajans in a Gurudwara!

There are many things in the movie which you can call mistakes, but you can't say it wasn't an innovative idea and a great movie.

A really decent movie attempt at dramatizing the complexities of the father-son relationship with cricket as the background. It reminded me of Iqbal and Lagaan in terms of dramatic scope. Akshay overdoes the beaten down son bit, but the rest of the casting is good, the story is a bit over the top but enjoyable nonetheless. The movie belongs to Rishi Kapoor who portrays the Sikh with a chip on his shoulder to perfection. The songs are good and I would recommend for a one-time watch.

This was Rishi Kapoor and Anushka show. It was nice to see different side of Akshay. It was great idea for film but downside was it was not developed properly. The highlight of the film was to see Nasser Hussain. This film will end up being missed opportunity.
