Paparazzi (1964)

Paparazzi explores the relationship between Brigitte Bardot and groups of invasive photographers attempting to photograph her while she works on the set of Jean-Luc Godard's film Le Mépris (Contempt). Through video footage of Bardot, interviews with the paparazzi, and still photos of Bardot from magazine covers and elsewhere, director Rozier investigates some of the ramifications of international movie stardom, specifically the loss of privacy to the paparazzi. The film explains the shooting of the film on the island of Capri, and the photographers' valiant, even foolishly dangerous, attempts to get a photograph of Bardot.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Its so AMAZING! If you're a fan of action movies like Mission impossible or others this one is for you plus in my mind it's much better. A father seeks revenge on the paparazzi that nearly killed his family and seeks to destroy his life. I guess the real reason my love for this movie is so intense is I have always loved to see the bad side of a good guy come out. haha only in the movies. It has its problems as many movies do but the main point of the story is so good that you can easily over look its flaws.

Great movie! They really built up the villians pretty well. I do not like the Paparazzi.

(T)his is sure to set off...critics who didn't like Passion and can't think of anything good to say about Gibson, (but)...(i)t's one that the vast multitudes...should enjoy.

You know what? This is the kind of unpretentious, let's-have-some-revenge-fun kind of movie that's a blast to watch. I also must say, Cole Hauser carries the film with class, serious class. And the Death Wish-esque ending is great! :D
