The story revolves around three members of a police surveillance squad conducting an investigation into a financial investment group involved in criminal fraud. A slow-paced but exciting movie .. (?!) The tension builds up slowly, but at the climax, it feels like a balloon that's going to explode, but you don't know when ... and how. The movie's strength is in the story, not in the tricks in surveillance. Don't expect too much on watching a lot of interesting surveillance techniques and technology. Not suitable for those who like typical fast-paced Hong Kong crime movies.

It's very disappointed. I thought Alan Mak/Felix Chong would be improved since Derek Yee helped them to produce. However, the script was still very crap, lots of unneccessarily subplot, and even wasted those three main actors. To be honest, it's not just boring movie at all, and even Mak/Chong's worst work since "Confession of Pain".

An interesting premise that meanders a little after the opening sequence but then builds to a shocking final act. Asian films pull no punches when it comes to bringing on retribution. The best stock market film I've seen and no doubt a hollywood adaptation is being developed where they miss the point by upping the stakes and tone down the consequences.

though the ending is a bit over, generally it is not bad at all. lau ching wan is always cool, and louis koo has shown great improvement in his performance.
