Luxuriating in the sort of complexity that streamlined films have a difficult time fitting into the confines of a cathartic narrative, Our Man in Tehran is a worthwhile complementary piece to Argo.

Robert Horton 30 Jul 2015

The story's a good one (already familiar if you saw Argo), and it's interesting to see the real-life versions of characters portrayed by Ben Affleck, etc.

Stephen Silver 16 Apr 2015

Is this treatment more true to the facts than "Argo"? Absolutely. Is it as entertaining? Not quite.

Simon Houpt 19 Sep 2013

Sometimes, the truth can be more entertaining than fiction.

Vanessa Farquharson 18 Sep 2013

Weinstein and Taylor keep things traditional when it comes to the [documentary] format, which lets viewers feel as though they're simply gathering 'round the fireplace for story time.
