Osombie (2012)

Following the 9/11 attacks, the war on terror against Afghanistan continues. With the Taliban insurgents hiding out in the mountains however, they become increasingly difficult for the US military to engage. The solution is to try and flush them out by adding low level chemicals to the water supply. Little do the USA know however that enemy scientists have adapted the chemicals to make their own formula, one that can bring the dead back to life.

This is an good alternative for people who detest nazi zombie movies because of their historical inaccuracy. The downside is Zombie Osama makes his first real entrance in the movie around 60 minutes in. The movie has a pretty serious tone. The good part Zombie Osama isn't CGI.

I knew it wouldn't be long before the war on terror would meet with zombies and Osama bin Laden seems like the perfect choice to produce an absolutely ridiculous zombie comedy. Unfortunately Osombie, despite the silly name, is far from a comedy. It's essentially 1.5 hours of soldiers walking around in a dessert shooting zombies. There's very little story, the acting is bad, the FX are extremely low budget, and there's not enough Osombie! The only good thing about this film is the fact that there are zombies throughout. Not worth your time.

Enjoyed this, fair enough filmed cheap as chips and daft as hell but still enjoyable and good story too it. plus loads blood and killing does for me.

I knew going into this that it would be bad, but i hoped it would at least be funny. But it wasn't even that. It was so low budget that it's barely watchable. The acting is terrible, the characters are terrible and the directing is boring. Plus the gore looks so bad. There were so many times when a zombie would appear behind a character and the others didn't see it...they're in the middle of the desert and they didn't see a zombie coming? got boring really quickly. Seriously, it's awful.
