Friends with Takashi Miike's assistant. I came to Japan in 2003. I had nothing to do with the remake.

Loved this movie. Saw it at a friends house when my friend lost her glasses and was blind, so I had to tell her what was going on and what they were saying. She said she enjoyed the movie more when I was telling her what was going on than when she could actually see it.

I loved this film. It is far superior than the American remake. I have the scary ringtone as my ringtone :)

takashi miike was a madman. this movie would have been totally worthless without him at the helm. a couple of really outstanding death scenes, and the ending turns from total groaner to great twist in a heartbeat.
