Surprisingly morbid for a Disney Christmas movie, but it does have a similar feel to several of the other live-action features made by Disney in the eighties. It was interesting to see once, but I wasn't too crazy about it. (First and only viewing - In my mid-twenties)

Very slow and boring, nothing really magical happened and it was all a bit doom and gloom. The last half hour was good but the rest just wasn't anyway near as good as the story was. They could of done so much with this to make it a whole lot better, disappointing from Disney.

Wow, these critics are really getting the point of this movie. Yes, the things that happen throughout are devestating, and as I child I thought so too, but now I realize that these things happened to Ginny in order for her to realize how much she has been blessed with the things she already has. Geez guys, maybe look a little deeper next time.
