Nukie (1987)

A space child, lost in the universe, is abducted by the U. S. Space Foundation. In a desperate intergalactic search for the frightened little alien, his brother Nukie® mistakenly lands in Africa where he is befriended by African twins. Nothing much to add to the other reviews except to say that it's a bad idea to make a drinking game out of hearing one of the aliens say "Nukie" - unless you can handle about 78 shots of liquor. Stupid and sweet and well-meaning and (laugh-at, not laugh-with) funny throughout. But mostly stupid.

Watching this cinematic masterpiece time after time, its slef evident why it won so many Oscars. The Action, the Excitement, the Drama. Nukie!!

This movie made me laugh harder than any other movie ever has. For hours. while staring at the floor, which appeared to be moving. Nukie is so terrible, it's wonderful, but loops around to being terrible again but so terrible after that that it defies classification. It is Nukie. I don't think it was supposed to, though.
