Noorie (1979)

Noorie lives in the Bhaderwah valleys with her father, Ghulam Nabi and her dog Khairoo, she has a boyfriend Yusuf, they decide to get married, the date is decided and preparations begin. But fate had something else in store. As another villager Bashir Khan takes a liking to Noorie and approaches Noorie's father for her hand, to which Ghulam Nabi refuses.

The real Hero in the Movie was the Dog, there is a Scene where small kids throw Stones against the dog, I cried my eyes off. I have never seen something like that. Back to the plot. It is a simple Love Story, nothing like Laila Majnu....more later

My favourite film! reminds me of my childhood years...... great memories and the most touching film ever with the most soothing sound tracks. I recommend everyone to watch this film!
