WOW INCREDIBLE. This action packed thriller deserves every award issued for high quality cinema in the last 1000 years. You have to watch it to believe it. The best attribute of this movie is how it is so true to itself. Almost as good as Kurt Cobain, just without the suicide.

A low end martial arts movie with the premise that after a nuclear holocaust, ninjas, much like cockroaches, will be among the first to venture back onto the surface and begin reestablishing society. There are 6 clans under the umbrella of the Grandmaster, who calls their leaders to a summit to in order to have them band together to face a common enemy. Someone assassinates the Grandmaster. A band of outcasts called the Lost Clan get the blame. The movie essentially is the journey of this clan to leave the nuclear bunker, 100 stories deep into the earth, and return to their village. Dull martial arts action, zombies, bad acting and ninja "superpowers" (each clan has its own shtick) coalesce into a campy, utterly predictable, mostly uninteresting mess.

Dark, grey, grim, and lacking. The effects are typical for a low budget movie, while the plot is weird but not exciting. Some nasty gore, dull dialog, and generic cliched twists. The action doesn't stand out, even with the poor characters.

1 part street fighter, 1 part Mortal Kombat TV show, 1 part Walking Dead. But the zombies don't show up til an hour in. How do the main group have superpowers akin to Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter but don't use them except to show up that they gave them
