Certainly a well crafted masterpiece that provides an insight, albeit imagined, into the conversations between the Queen and her prime ministers, this film/play flies by in no time in all and is all engaging. Marvellous.

The best of West End theatre... It is fortunate for most of us that we can catch it on screen. If the magic exudes from the screen, you can imagine what it would be like when watched on stage. Would love to have a DVD of it.
