Probably the toughest movie I've ever watched...disturbing story of child sexual abuse, yet told in a non-dramatic, cold manner....it really left me feeling uneasy about humanity. Amazing movie.

absolutely. amazing. the movie is haunting; the acting, directing, and music is superb in creating and accurately depicting this delicate and fragile world. on a scale of 1 to 10, it'd get a 1000. so chilling. so real. :fresh: :fresh: :fresh: :fresh: :fresh: :fresh: :fresh:

j'ai pu enfin le voir et je ne suis absolument pas dÃ©Ã§u ! par contre je reste encore sans voix. il va me falloir un petit peu de temps encore pour analyser cet excellent film.

I'm so amazed by thisl piece of cinema. Holy crap, this is some intense, gripping, dark material. I'm kind of embarrassed that it's rated NC-17 because I didn't know that. haha I can't stress enough how much this movie changed my views. I keep coming back to this story over and over in my mind. It was hard to watch, but it also gives you this intense compassion for the main character (Gordon-Levitt) and truly let the viewer feel what it was like to be him. I have a crush on Jeffrey Licon too, so that was a plus.
