Mukhbiir (2008)

After being orphaned at the age of 12 and living with incompatible relatives, Kailash ends up on the streets, is picked by police and lodged in a cell at the age of 18. It is here he will be interrogated by S.P. Rathod and given an option of either rotting in jail or spying for him. He undertakes to co-operate fully with Rathod, undergoes training, and infiltrates a gang of Andhra Pradesh Naxalites - successfully arranging the death of its' leader, Mahendra Thapa.

After watching this movie i realized one thing that the indian critics and indian audience dont know shit. i mena they make movie slike om shanti om and aap ka surroor hits and a fantastic piece of work like "Mukhbiir" is totally ignored. anywyas coming to the movie... the movie is about an informer and his life. samir dattani did a really good job but he was weak in 2 scenes. Suniel sheety was very effective in a small role (about 20 mins role). om puri did justice to his role and so did rahul dev and sushant singh. It was good to see alok nath as one of the bad guys with a rough look after a long time. Jackie sheroff was totally wasted. the bets thing about the movie was that the songs were in the background and the love story story lasted for like 10 mins only. the direction, the story, the acting... everything was really good. A really good movie... enjoyed it alot!
