A nice look back at the 1st 3 ROTLD movies. Not as good as the F13 or NOES documentaries by the same filmmakers, but enjoyable.

Very fun documentary and a great look back at the horror classic. Many cast and crew members show up and give great details about being on the set, and we see many shots and behind the scenes photos. There are a lot of laughs and interesting details. The background sets are great and the editing is well done. They did a great job with it, but it's better if you've at least seen the original film. They don't bring up the sequels, but the DVD does include 2 bonus mini-docs for RotLD 2 and 3.

This documentary continues the great trend of late to give an in-depth look at certain genres or franchises that you'd never expect to get the deluxe treatment, and I'm happy to have such a thorough look at this series, even if the later installments are rather dreadful. If you're a fan of the first couple films, you must watch this, it's a helluva lot of fun. Recommended.
