I'm bigger on Cannibal Holocaust personally and this is simply just an exploitation film, it is entertaining and I enjoy the commentary but Cannibal Holocaust has just so much more going for it. The music by Riz Ortolani is one of the most listened things on my ipod.

One movie I really have a hard time watching. The animal deaths just really disturb me, personally. That said, the commentary is clever, and funny, and of course valid, because the world is a sick place.

good deal of fun. the kinda fun that makes you wanna take a shower afterwards. completely bizarre comedic shock value (much of which has faded over time.) featured scenes that are aimed to shock have become common knowledge since the film was first released in the early sixties. still this movie makes for a unique viewing experience.

Mondo Cane is a movie with its big problems. Nonetheless, the concept of shockumentary possesses an immense - largely unexplored and underestimated - political and analytical potential.
