the end may leave you scratching your head, but it's Gundam, more gundam and that's all i ever want. I feel i would be remiss if i didn't have a HAIL NEO ZEON in this review

I love how they ended the Char-Amuro Rivalry. Especially the fact that it shows they both desire the same thing. Just they wish to obtain it from two opposite side of the Spectrum.

A fateful space duel between Amuro and Char made the story of 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack' moving to keep me awake when the action rages!

You don't need to be familar with the series to follow everything going on, as it does a good job of setting up the characters on it's own terms, but it would help. The animation is strong, and the fights are very well done, but, as with all the "Gundam" entries, it's mostly about the politics. I like this aspect of the show, and it helps differeniate it from the throngs of other mecha shows. The ending is very exciting, with all the poltical backstabbing and the fleets of Gundam suits converge. It won't convert you, if you don't like anime, but if you do, it's solid.

I am glad they did this right. This was satisfying ending between Amuro and Char. Also the ending aI have to say was one of the greatest hand drawn animation in anime too. A must watch for any gundam fan.
