1. IF you were expecting non stop action; you will be bummed out 2. IF you were looking for a storyline, romance and action....you won't be disappointed. Great pic; great production....acting was fantastic as well.

Though rich in period detail, the movie grows tiresome with solemn, protracted soap-operatic encounters laden with glowering stares and tearful outbursts.

An engaging story that is beautifully shot and wonderfully acted. Great performances all around by Jeon Do Hyun, Kim Go Eun and Lee Byung Hun, but in particular by Jeon and Kim. Mesmerizing at times and heart-wrenching in parts, this movie stays in your mind long after you have left the theater.
