Ya you have to be in the right moods for certain movies, and some are not like all the rest or are so far out there they blow your mind or you have to watch them a few times and really get into them. This movie is like colateral, the hitcher and another cuba gooding jr movie i can not recall the title of. Its got that vibe and it goes down those roads, and jackson and wilson are the perfect match for that kind of chemistry, and due a find job doing what they do, I quite enjoyed this freaky little film

Evil comes to call on a couple who quite literally have it in for each other. Once there, the mysterious and homicidal stranger seems curious about the main object of his attentions, the husband he's been sent to kill. He drags John through a statewide killing spree, until John is caught and held as the prime suspect in the murders. Another murder while John is incarcerated seems to exonate John, but the killer isn't done. In the climax of the movie, John and Richie are in the house with the kids, and a fight ensues that culminates in the police shooting and killing Richie. John ends up realizing that his daughter is another man's progeny all too late. When Richie dies, his soul jumps to the chief of police. John refuses to have his psychotic wife questioned and plans to kill her that night while they sleep. Roll credits.

Not your typical Samuel L Jackson movie. The movie has a surrealistic feel to it and leaves a lot unresolved at the end. The atmosphere was haunting, with little music and warm/darkened tones. Emotions and reactions throughout the movie were painted in extremes, creating a distinctly artsy feel to the film. I will definitely be watching it again for further analysis.

Chris Fisher so over-directs his material that the action takes on the sheen of a parody or, at least, of a film that doesn't realize its clichés are being exaggerated to the point of absurdity.
