Antonio Banderas hits the map in this great Almodovar film.

An interesting murder mystery/freaky sex piece. Some of the content is difficult to stomach and there's not really a character to ally oneself with, unlike his later films, where they're all fucked up and like-able in their own ways. This can be filed under 'dark' Almodovar, next to 'Bad Education'.

Rape, murders, sex, bulls, necrophilia, vertigo, love and some more crazy sex hahaha... Almodovar at his finest \m/

Love Almodovar - this is hard to find but one of my very favorites of his movies - two lovers destined to meet and to die together..

Ken Hanke 22 Sep 2003

A richly detailed, physically gorgeous movie (Almodovar's most professional-looking work to that time) that almost has too much on its mind.
