If Spurlock had simply followed Waters around for 80 minutes, the result would be more entertaining than Mansome. Hell, 80 minutes of John Waters sleeping would be more fun than Mansome.

The first bomb by Morgan Spurlock. Kind of aimless and not really delving into the subject matter like you'd expect him to. Far too much time is wasted on Jack Passion (the Whisker Wars douchebag) and far too little time is spent on everything else. We need you in your films more, Morgan!

It's a movie so late in noticing a shift in American male grooming that for a documentary on the subject to work, Spurlock would either have to pitch it to our grandparents (or be a grandparent) or trace the arc of the shift and unpack it.

The people in this doc were the best part and that's what made it pretty good. I liked the idea of taking a look at what men are faced with these days in terms of looking good. It got a little redundant, but Jason Bateman and Will Arnett are never the wrong choice.
