Favoirtie of mine every Halloween. So many top stars add their voices from Karloff to Phyllis Diller. Wonderful songs by Gale Garnett also.

i have to say the 60's feeling spoils it all, plus the story is a bit boring, and so are the musical numbers... good details, like the carrier bats instead of carrier pigeons, but that's it. it's such a pity, i expected so much more. not my thing at all.

A Rankin/Bass claymation movie featuring all the classic monsters and er um Phyllis Diller. I enjoy it, i'm thankful it even exists, i'd enjoy it even more if it were an hour long instead of feature length.

This is probably my favorite Rankin-Bass animated movie, probably because it's a Halloween special and my favorite monsters are satired in it. Some great music and some funny stuff. Trippy to say the least.

I liked this movie because of the cast and the cool puppets, but I didn't like this movie because it tries too hard to be funny and the songs are annoying. Overall, it's okay, but I was expecting more from the title and actors.
