Nicely shot and edited, but the movie is a narrative mess, which wouldn't be so bad if all it were up to was depicting Lucia's ups and downs. But the film takes too many illogical detours to be of much use.

Even though the presence of such political and social nuances is largely inconceivable in an American romantic comedy, they only make this busy, blustery film seem more muddled.

Loved it! Great combination of actors, wonderful color, diverse scenery, cute plot. This movie really has character. It's bold, charming, quirky, and warm. The Director did a fantastic job. Some very quotable lines too... Deserves an R rating for some nudity that could have been abbreviated.
